Addie Brookover Jones

Addie Brookover Jones, 90, of Williamstown passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Eagle Pointe in Parkersburg. She was born February 3, 1924, in Orlando, West Virginia, a daughter of Arch and Minnie Blake Riffle.

Addie is survived by one daughter and one son: Sharon (John) Franklin of Arnoldsburg, WV, Richard Steven Brookover of Marietta, grandson Carl Newbrough, Jr. of Marietta, granddaughter Tammy Newbrough of Marietta; great grandchildren: Tylee and Morgan Newbrough, Zackry Taylor, Christian Weddle.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Brady Brookover, Jr. and second husband Sam F. Jones; 2 brothers, Leo Riffle and Junior Riffle; 4 sisters: Charlotte Mollahan, Mary Heater, Sylvia Varner, Dorothy Weckenbacker.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Sept. 24) at 10:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Burnt Hill Cemetery.
