Anna J. Lott
Anna Josephine Lott, 78, of Williamstown passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, surrounded by family. She was born December 11, 1938, in Wood County, WV, a daughter of Glenn Hays and Finnie Faye Pugh Hays.
She had been employed at many jobs over the years from working at a pottery and on a local farm and at a Farm Fresh Store. She was a member of Burnthill United Methodist Church.
On July 7, 1956, Anna married Charles Richard Lott who preceded her in death. She is survived by their 3 children: Judith (Leonard) Phillips, Dale (Darlene) Lott, Sandra (Charles) Snyder; grandchildren: Elizabeth Daff of Marietta, Jessica Phillips of Denton, TX, Michael Snyder of Williamstown, Amanda Pratt of Little Hocking, Cristy Thompson and Jeremy Godfrey of Williamstown; great grandchildren: Taylor and Reese and Kyrah and Kiauna. She is also survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister: Robert L. Hays, Carl Phillips, Kenneth Phillips and Minnie Lipscomb. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday (Apr. 13) at 10:30am at Marietta First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Terry Schmelzenbach officiating. Interment will follow in Burnthill Cemetery. Family will greet friends at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 and on Thursday one hour before the service.
