Betty Lou Patterson
Betty Lou Patterson, 92, of Marietta passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 22, 1922, at Clarksburg, WV the daughter of Martin Luther and Ora Nettie Groghan Gibson.
Betty was employed at Ohio Bureau of Unemployment in Marietta for 30 years. She was a member of Church of Christ.
On August 6, 1938, she married Emmett Bishop Patterson who preceded her in death. Betty is survived by one daughter Connie L. (William) Dayton of Marietta and one son Gary Allan (Carolyn) Patterson of Grove City, OH, granddaughter Susan Patterson, 6 grandsons, Gary Allan Patterson, Jr, Charles Thomas Patterson, Keith Randall Patterson, Jeffery Wayne Dayton, David Allan Dayton, Daniel Emory Day, 6 great grandchildren, 5 great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 5 sisters: Lena Ash, Freda Hupp, Pearl Hulbert, Virginia Camden, Lorraine Lougham, and 3 brothers: Emil Gibson, Harry Gibson and Elwin Gibson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday (Feb. 21) at 11:00 at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Reverend Chris Gimpel officiating.
