Beverly Mae Carpenter
Beverly Mae (Wallace) Carpenter, 72, of New Matamoras, passed away June 2, 2016, at Port Deposit MD. She was born in Spartanburg, SC, to Russel and Lydia (Haught) Wallace.
She is survived by her children, Ricky Carpenter (Lesley), Steven Carpenter (Jackie), Kimberly Biggs (David) and Debra Ward. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Gary & Bill Wallace; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Carpenter, a grandson, Steven David Dean Carpenter, and a great granddaughter Lily Marick Freilling.
Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 4 p.m. Monday Jun. 6, with the family present from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jun. 7, at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home, Marietta, with burial following in Knob Cemetery. Following the burial family and friends are encouraged to gather at Harmony Hill Baptist Church to celebrate and honor the life of Bev.
