Carter Joseph

Carter Joseph, 75, of Marietta passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at Heartland of Marietta.

Carter was born October 25, 1939, to Willie and Edith Collins Joseph in Ironton, Ohio. Carter graduated from Rock Hill High School in Ironton. He served in the U. S. Navy. While in the Navy he met the love of his life, his wife Liz Wallace Joseph. Carter retired from Fenton Art Glass. In his spare time, Carter loved fishing and gardening.

Carter is survived by his wife Liz and daughter Melissa Ann Morris; grandchildren: Hannah, Terry, Matthew and Emma Morris; brothers: Rick Joseph of New York, Jon Joseph of Marietta, Bill Joseph of Barlow; sisters: Mary Wells, Betty (Joe) Naab, Becky (Robin) Blondeaux of Williamstown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughters Marsha and Evelyn Mae Joseph; brothers: Bud and Craig Joseph; sisters Peggy Fish and Garnet Grady.

According to his wishes he will be cremated and no public services will be observed. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
