Charlotte Grady Boyce Craig
Charlotte Grady Boyce Craig, 71, of Marietta passed away at 12:15 am, Monday, January 16, 2017, at Harmar Place. She was born in Marietta on March 4, 1945, a daughter of Bernard James Grady and Thelma Ruth Stewart Grady.
Charlotte was a graduate of Marietta High School in 1964. She was a homemaker and mother and an avid Bingo player who loved to play at St. Mary’s Bingo.
She married the love of her life Franklin D. Boyce who passed away in 1974. Several years later she met and married Donald J. Craig who made her life worth living again and who passed away in 1997.
Charlotte is survived by her children: Gina (John) Neal of Matthews, NC, Erica Boyce of Marietta; Deborah Jo (Ron) Berg of Pinellas Park, FL, Donna Jean Craig of Charlotte, NC and Donald Joe Craig, Jr. of Lincolnton, NC; grandchildren: Seth Franklin Boyce, Amanda Marie Neal, Ryan Paul Berg and Brittany Joelle Berg; great grandchildren: Madilyn Hope Boyce, Rilynn Peyton Berg and Vaughn Paul Berg. She is also survived by her brother Clarence “Uncle Bunny” (Sandy) Grady and sister Sharon Johnson (Richard) and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers: Charles Neisen Grady, Gary Bernard Grady and Jack
Dale Grady and sister Betty McBride.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday (Jan. 19) at 2:30pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial to follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:30 until the hour of the service. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
