Cheryl Lynn Griffin
Cheryl Lynn Griffin, 55, of Devola passed away at 10:00am, Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born December 13, 1959, in Marietta to Genevieve and Walter Davidson.
Cheryl was a graduate of Fort Frye High School. She was a bus driver for Head Start Fort Frye Schools special needs children who she loved very much. She also drove the Marietta Trolley and was a volunteer for the Fair Board. Cheryl enjoyed singing Karaoke.
On October 16, 2005, she married Walter Griffin who survives with 1 son, Jacob (Elizabeth) Griffin of Marietta and 6 grandchildren: Aaron Oliver, Shanna Oliver, Karlie Oliver, Damon Holbert, Ruthie Carpenter, Leonard Carpenter II and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Paul Dividson.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday (Mar. 12) at 10:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell.
