Clyde E. Cokeley

Clyde E. Cokeley, Jr. 77, former resident of Marietta passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, Ohio. He was born September 3, 1936 to Clyde E. Cokeley, Sr. and Ethel McClure Cokeley. Clyde was an Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War and a member of several veteran’s organizations.

He is survived by one son and one daughter, Clyde E. Cokeley, III and wife Cheryl of Gibson City, IL and Christy Unzicker and husband Ryan of Stoughton, WI; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Gene M. Cokeley and wife Sandra and brother-in-law Don Farson all of Waverly, WV, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Lois Farson.

Friends may call Monday (Mar. 24) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home from 1:00 until 2:00. Graveside services will follow at Willow Island Cemetery at 3:00 pm with Reverend Chuck Ferrell officiating and with full military honors.
