Dale E. Leister
Dale E. Leister, 90, of Marietta passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016, at his home. He was born January 26, 1926, in Newport a son of James and Myrtle Hearn Leister. Dale had been employed at Patin Manufacturing (Birmingham Bolt).
On July 6, 1944, he married Anna Myers who preceded him in death November 4, 2014. He is survived by 3 children: Gerald “Jerry” (Deborah) Leister of Cumberland, Darrel (Joyce) Leister of Fairborn, OH, Arthur “Art” (Denise) Leister of Marietta; 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; brother Bernard (Naomi) Leister of Marietta, sister Ruth Ann (Gale) Eddy of Eddy’s Ridge and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by twin children at birth, grandson Jason Leister, brother James, and 2 sisters, Opal and Betty.
