Daniel E. Owen
Daniel E. Owens, 64, of Marietta passed away at his home Wednesday, July 16, 2014. He was born on December 18, 1949, in Marietta a son of Marshall Owens and Hilda Rehlinger Owens. Dan was retired from RJF International in 1999. He enjoyed riding his Harley, Ham Radio and his cats: Truman, Trixie Lynn, Frank, Barney, and Princess. He enjoyed being “Pa Pa” to his grandchildren.
On July 26, 1975, he married Nancy Cozzens who survives with their daughter Angela (Doug) Hess of Belpre, granddaughter Shannon Hess and grandson Gavin Hess. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Geoffrey Ritchie, sisters-in-law, Rhonda (Paul) Strahler and Melody Attaway and other friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and cats, Taco and Johnny.
Visitation will be held at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Monday (July 21) from 10:00 until 1:00 followed by burial in Gravel Bank Cemetery. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com
