David Carpenter
David Carpenter, 71, of New Matamoras passed away February 20, 2015 at Muskingum Valley Nursing Home in Beverly.
He was born in Youngstown, Ohio to Rector and Doris (Barnhart) Carpenter.
He is survived by his wife Beverly (Wallace) Carpenter and children, Ricky Carpenter (Lesley), Steven Carpenter (Jackie), Kimberly Biggs (David) and Debra Ward. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 7 great grand children, a sister Linda Pritchett and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Larry Carpenter.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Thursday, February 26th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Knob Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 4 pm Wednesday, with the family present from 4 to 8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the funeral home to assist with David’s funeral.
