Dean L. Haught

Dean Leroy Haught, 86, of Archers Fork passed away at 4:16pm, Friday, April 28, 2017.  He was born October 10, 1930, in Dart, Ohio, to the late Clyde and Ethelinda Carothers Haught.

Dean was a self-employed mechanic and oil producer and a farmer.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korea conflict, was a member of VFW Post 5108 and American Legion Post 64 and was a member of Lawrence Baptist Church.  He enjoyed antique gas engines and trains. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
 
His wife, Jeanette L. Klima Haught preceded him in death on July 25, 2013.  Dean is survived by 5 sons and 3 daughters:  Robert Brown of Florida, Charles (Melissa) Brown of Florida, Steven (Karen) Brown of Wisconsin, Michael (Teresa) Haught of New Matamoras, Mark Haught of New Matamoras, Deborah (Donald) Enochs of New Matamoras, Madeline (Wayne) West of Lower Salem, Teresa (Brent) Wood of Wingett Run, a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Earl and Neil Haught and sister, Audrey Ruble.
 
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (May 3) at 10:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastors Erin Curtis and Marvin Haught officiating.  Burial will be at Lawrence Baptist Cemetery.  The family will greet friends on Tuesday from 3 until 8 at the funeral home.  Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
