Dorothy J. Lauderman
Dorothy J. Lauderman, 75, of Williamstown passed away at 4:00 am, Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at her home. She was born September 30, 1938, in Dexter City, Ohio, a daughter of Benjamin Corp VI and Ethel Seevers Corp. She had been employed at Marietta Memorial Hospital and later employed at Big Bear Store.
On August 23, 1958, she married Lawrence Lauderman who preceded her in death on June 25, 2008.
Dorothy is survived by 2 sons and 1 daughter: Lawrence Leroy (Vickie) Lauderman, Gary Dean (Sarah) Lauderman, and Linda (William) Smith all of Williamstown; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and grandson Ronald Lauderman, Jr. who was raised in the home; 2 sisters-in-law, Patricia Martin and Iva Lauderman and friend Carolyn Brookover.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Ronald Lauderman, Sr. and her special companion “Punk’n.”
Funeral services will be held on Friday (June 13) at 1:30pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Charles Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
