Earl Lloyd Blume
Earl Lloyd Blume, 84, of Russell, Kentucky, formerly from Marietta passed away April 16th, 2017 at Woodland Oaks Nursing facility. He was born in Marietta, Ohio, on February 12, 1933, to the late Sharon Edward, Sr. and Helen Irene Blume.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Tressa May Blume, whom he adored. Also preceded by two brothers; Doc Sharon Blume, Jr. and John Blume, two sisters; Irene Moore and Frances Lent.
Left behind to cherish his memory are two Daughters, Margie (Larry) Hougland and Margaret( Randy) Kahrig; three Grandchildren Jason (Khristy) Kahrig, Jamie Kahrig, and Lynn Rozanski; 4 Great-Grandchildren, Alexis Kitchen, Jozie Thomas, Eva Kahrig, and Ethan Kahrig. He is also survived by one brother, Edward (Erma) Blume; two sisters, Betty Travis and Emma Allender and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Earl loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved spending time with them. He also was a woodworker and made many beautiful pieces of furniture for the family to cherish.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday (April 19) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with entombment following in East Lawn Memorial Park. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12 until 2. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
