Esther Anne Reynolds McGuire
Esther Anne Reynolds McGuire, 84, of Williamstown passed away 4:42 pm, Thursday June 4, 2015 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 13, 1930 in Marshall County, Woodlands, WV the daughter of Donald P. & Margaret Schlobohn Reynolds. Following her graduation from Williamstown High School, she went to work in the Dietary Department of the former Marietta Osteopathic & Selby General Hospital for 32 years. She retired in 1984 due to health problems. After retiring, she enjoyed working with arts & crafts and painting.
On August 28, 1968, she married Orval McGuire who preceded her in death on March 7, 2012.
She is survived by three half-brothers & sister, Tex and Terry Reynolds and Eleanor Kay McMasters all of Moundsville, two cousins, Helen McHenry Thayer of Ypsilanti, MI and Billie Von Yoho of Beeville, Texas and many wonderful friends in Williamstown.
In addition to her parents and husband Esther was preceded in death by a one-half sister, Donna Lou Applegate.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday, June 10th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral with Reverend Cody Parman officiating. Burial will follow at the Riverview Cemetery. Friends may at the funeral home beginning at 6 pm Tuesday evening. Messages if sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
