Frances K. Binegar
Frances K. Binegar, 100, of Marietta passed away April 29, 2015 at Harmar Place.
She was born February 27, 1915 in Marietta, Ohio to August and Katharine (Miller) Spindler. She was a 1934 graduate of Marietta High School and had worked in her family’s general stores. Frances was a member of 6th and Washington Street Church of Christ and was an avid quilter. She will be remembered as a hard worker and a loving mother.
On October 30, 1937 Francis married Roscoe Binegar who preceded her in death on April12, 2002.
Surviving are her children Kay Casto (Russell) of Marietta, John Binegar of Marietta, Steven Binegar of Versailles, KY, Larry Binegar (Sally) of Columbus and Deborah Vana (Steven) of Westminster, MD. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 13 great step-grandchildren, 13 great great step-grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Frances was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 3 brothers, and a daughter-in-law Rachel.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday May 4th at the 6th & Washington Street Church of Christ with Roger Rush officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Cemetery.
