Frances L. Taylor
Frances L. Taylor, 79, of Newport passed away at 9:34pm, Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at the Washington County Home.
She was born in Newport on May 7, 1938, a daughter of Simeon E. and Margaret Knopp Taylor. Frances was a graduate of Newport High School and had been employed at the Washington County Home. She was a member of the Deucher Baptist Church.
She is survived by her niece, Deborah Williamson Cain of Colliers, WV and nephew, Arthur (Kathy) Williamson of Cambridge, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, half sister, Fannie E. Taylor Williamson and nephew, Arthur J. Williamson.
Funeral services will be held on Monday (Oct. 23) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Newport Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
