Frank W. Bailey, Jr. 68, of Marietta passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017, at his home. He was born on April 24, 1949, in Montgomery, WV, to Frank William Bailey, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Jones of Barlow.
Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam. He was employed as an oilfield and construction worker.
Frank is survived by his mother Mary Bailey, 6 sisters and 3 brothers: Margaret Davidson, Marlene (Ray) Allison, Sue Bolobanic, Shirley Ullman, Wanda Williams, Donna Bailey, Richard Bailey, David (Pamela) Bailey, Joseph Bailey. Also survived by grandchildren: Atticus and Brinkley Barnhart, longtime companion Jamie Wallace and her son Brandon, many nieces (including Lana Francis, Koren Bailey, Lori Miller), nephews and great nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by longtime friend, Scott Tyrell.
His father, brother Paul Bailey, 2 nephews, Jesse Bailey and Lee Francis, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday (June 1) at 2:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Don Teubert officiating. Interment will follow in Tunnel Cemetery with full military honors. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 4 until 8.
