Henry Carl Scott
Henry Carl Scott, 75, of Marietta passed away September 9, 2016 at his home. He was born December 15, 1940 in Washington Co. to Arthur E. and Thelma E. (Allender) Scott. Henry had retired from WASCO and was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church. He was a gentle, kind-hearted compassionate soul who was always happy and had a wonderful smile that would light up a room. Henry loved horses and adored his younger brother, John who will miss him greatly
Surviving is his brother John Scott of Marietta and sister Grace “Nancy” Marshall of Canton along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday Sept. 13th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial to follow in Barnett Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call beginning 2 pm on Monday with the family present from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
