Hilda M. Warren
Hilda M. Warren, 93, of Marietta, passed away on Friday evening, February 24, 2017, at The Pines. She was born on October 25, 1923, in Whipple to the late Ora and Norma Slobohm Erbse.
Hilda was a life member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cats and gardening. “Mom and Pop” loved to visit hospitals and nursing homes.
On April 24, 1953, she married Paul R. Warren who preceded her in death on May 11, 1995. She is survived by her sons, Jeff and Jay Warren of Marietta. She was preceded in death by her sister Ruth Oliver and brother Edwin Erbse.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Mar. 1) at 10:30am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Lou Verdi officiating. The family will greet friends on Tuesday after 3:00pm. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to private care giver Mary Ann Moyer and Peggy Pase of Safe at Home Home Health Care, Medi Hospice Tana, Katrina, Bridget, Pastor Herb and The Pines at Glenwood for the care given Hilda.
