Ida Jean Fleming
Ida Jean Fleming, 89, a longtime resident of Boaz, WV, peacefully passed away after a brief illness on March 16th 2016 in Scottsdale, AZ where she had been residing for the previous four years.
She was born on October 21, 1926, in Sabraton, WV a daughter of the late Edwin Lee and Madge McElwee Jarvis.
Surviving are her children; son, Ronald (Theresa) Fleming of Woodbridge, Virginia; son, Terry (Barbara) Fleming of Scottsdale, Arizona; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Fleming; a son, Patrick Fleming; brothers, Edwin Jarvis, Ira Jarvis and sisters Virginia Boggess and Garnet Williams.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 25th at 10:30 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home in Marietta with Pastor Cheryl Arnold officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday (Mar. 24) from 2-4 & 6-8.
