James Adrian Stanley
James Adrian Stanley, 76, of Marietta passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Heartland of Marietta.
He was born July 8, 1940 in Welch, WV to the late James A. Stanley and Augusta (Terry) Stanley. Adrian was a 1957 graduate of Clyde High School and had obtained a degree in electronics at the Electronics Institute Inc. in Detroit, MI. He had been employed at Cytec Industries as a instrument tech. Adrian loved Bluegrass music and enjoyed playing his mandolin, most often at Frost, OH.
On March 26, 1960 Adrian married Marie Price who survives with their children Karen Stanley (Gary) of Kingston, OH and Timothy Stanley (Amy) of Marietta. Also surviving are grandchildren Taylor, Rosemary, Sydney, Cooper and Campbell and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Adrian was preceded in death by his brother Larry Joe Stanley.
