Judy A. Francis

Judy A. Francis, 78, of Marietta passed away at 2:55am,Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

She was born April 12, 1939, in Washington County, Ohio, to Harold A. “Jerry” Spindler and Ida C. Welch Spindler.  Judy was a homemaker and attended Open Door Baptist Church.  She loved life and enjoyed social activities, loved her family and was loved by many.

On March 27, 1956, she married Jack D. Francis who survives with one son and one daughter:  Kevin D. (Susan C.) Francis and Deneen R. (Tim) Schaad both of Marietta; 3 grandchildren:  Brittany G. (Ryan) Bishman of Marietta, Bridget L. (Chris) McCutcheon of Marietta, Braden D. (Ashley) Schaad of Springlake, NC; 6 great grandchildren:  Wyatt Bishman, Drake, Brenna and Kaelyn McCutcheon, Madison and Caleb Schaad and her sister Joan (Brad) McMaster of Marietta.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and brother Harold E. “Buck” Spindler.

Funeral services will be held on Monday (July 31) at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Don Arbuckle and Pastor Tim Schaad officiating.  Interment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.  Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8.  Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.=
