Lloyd E. Schneeberger

Lloyd E. Schneeberger, 81, of Whipple passed away at 3:10 pm, Thursday (March 5, 2015) at The Arbors of Marietta.  He was born March 19, 1933, in Lebanon, Ohio a son of William and Myrtle Bigley Schneeberger.

Lloyd was a manager and mechanic in the bowling industry.  He was a member of Masonic Lodge at Stafford, a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.  Lloyd was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle.

On April 19, 1956, he married Shirley Fern Almond in Shreveport, LA.  She preceded him in death October 19, 1998.  He is survived by 1 son and 2 daughters:  Marlene (Darrell) Williamson of Marietta, Cynthia (Rob) Armstrong of Rinard Mills and William “Rusty” (Jill) Schneeberger of Guthrie, OK; 6 grandchildren, Michael (Brianne) Armstrong, Jessica (Matt) Mendenhall, Megan (Randy) Williamson, Linsee (Josh) Thomas, Matthew (Bethany) Schneeberger, Macy Schneeberger; great grandchildren:  Gavin, Gracie, Dalton, Jocelyn, Evelyn, Kinley, Cannon, Lillie, Landry, Lane, and special nephew Bobby Brown.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, 2 sisters, Doris Brown and Marilyn Robinson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday (Mar. 9) at 12:00 noon at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Porter officiating.  Burial will be at Masterton Cemetery with full military services.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 until noon.  Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
