Loah A. Meaux
Loah A. Meaux, 77, of Marietta passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015, at 6:15am at The Arbors of Marietta. She was born August 31, 1937, in Zanesville, Ohio a daughter of Thomas and Mabel Clark. Loah had been employed at Campus Martius Museum and Marietta YMCA. Loah’s passion in life was her family, friends, music and she loved the Lord.
Loah is survived by 1 son and 4 daughters: Jamie Powell, Norma Wells both of Beverly, Rhonda Meaux of Marietta, Jewel (Craig) Church of Portland, ME, Russell Meaux of Marietta, 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers and sisters: Ronnie, Danny, Sheila, Ruthie, Carolyn, Bobby, and Connie. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Audie Meaux, stepmother Wilma Clark and several brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday (June 18) at 7:00pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour before the service. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
