Lois E. Nice
Lois E. Nice, 75, of Whipple passed away at 5:15 pm, Monday, January 23, 2017, at Heartland of Marietta. She was born May 31, 1941, in Vincent, Ohio, to Edward Johnson and Irma Burnfield Johnson of Belpre.
She had been employed at various plants in the area and was a member of Belpre Congregational Church.
On July 3, 1982, she married Ron Nice who survives along with her mother and her two children: Melissa Bigley of Lower Salem and Darin Huffman of Minneapolis, MIN; two step children: Bradley J. (Crystal) Nice of Houston, TX and Brandi (Clark) Beckley of Chicago, IL; 3 grandchildren and 2 brothers: Larry Johnson of Columbus, OH, and Gib Johnson of Belpre. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (Jan. 27) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Salem Township Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
