Mary Catherine Farnsworth Harris
Mary Catherine (Farnsworth) Harris, 69, of Marietta went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 22, 2016. Mary was born to Raymond Harvey and Mary Anna (Bolinger) Farnsworth on July 14, 1946, in Marietta. Mary worked as a cook for several years at Marietta College Snack Bar. She attended The Salvation Army Church and loved doing things to help the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her late husband Carl Larry Harris, both parents; two sisters Audrey (Farnsworth) Gadd, Sandra Irene (Farnsworth) Adams and four brothers Robert Bruce Farnsworth, Jack Dillion Farnsworth, Michael Francis Farnsworth, and Paul Dana Farnsworth, two grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is survived by one brother David Eugene Farnsworth of Dupont, Washington, two daughters Carla (Terry) Turner of Newport, Tenn., Mary Hanes of Marietta, three sons Kevin Harris of Marietta, John (Molly) Dailey of Dallas N.C., and Raymond (Brandi) Dailey of Lexington, S.C. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday (June 26) at 2:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in East Lawn Memorial Park. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 5 until 9. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
