Mary E. Dana
Mary E. Dana, 88, of Marietta passed away at 5:09 pm, Sunday, July 16, 2017, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 9, 1928, in Orange, New Jersey, to Albert and Helen Core Sinclair.
Mary had been employed at B F Goodrich in the cafeteria. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother great grandma (Grandma Great).
On February 12, 1975, she married Bill Dana who survives with 3 daughters: Rae Ann Stollar of Marietta, Patty Lee of Stockport and Susan Vizzuto of Stockport; 6 grandchildren: Tony, Carylon, Georgia, Jamie, Jennifer, Hope; 8 great grandchildren: Chelsey, Reece, Leanna, Steven, Rance, Ryann, Troy and Heath and her beloved dog “Maggie.”
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Raymond L. Pape, and 3 sons: Jon, Steve and Dwight.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday (July 20) at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with interment following in Newport Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
