Oscar W. Warfield
Oscar W. Warfield, 94, of Marietta passed away at 10:50am, Monday, January 4, 2016, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 12, 1921, in Constitution, OH, to Oscar and Annie Warfield. Oscar was employed by The City of Marietta and attended 6th and Washington Church of Christ.
He is survived by his son and daughter, Roger (Charlene) Warfield and Wanda Whitten; 2 grandchildren: Savannah Whitten and Becky Carter and great grandson Lorenzo Sanchez. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday (Jan. 7) at 10:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 and on Wednesday with family present 2-4 & 6-8 and one hour before the service. Burial will be in Gravel Bank Cemetery.
