Patricia Weppler
Patricia Weppler, 80, of Florida and Marietta, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017. She was born on June 12, 1936, in Cheektowanga, NY, a daughter of the late Walter and Estelle Piersa.
Pat graduated from Kensington High School in Buffalo, NY. She started her employment at Marietta Memorial Hospital in July, 1959. During her 39 years there, she was the recipient of the Fenton Award, a member of the 25-year plus Club and numerous non-absenteeism award. She loved traveling with her husband, Don, to all the U. S. States with the exception of Alaska and also traveled to several foreign countries.
Her husband, Donald Weppler, preceded her in death in 2012. She is survived by her son Ricky Alan Weppler and daughter Pamela Ann Davis and 6 grandchildren. Her brothers, Thomas Piersa of Scottsdale, AZ and John Piersa of Buffalo , and sister Sandra Bugary of E. Amherst, NY, NY also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Feb. 1) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Salem Township Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Wednesday before the service from 9 until 11. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
