Patsy Louise Frampton, 81, of Marietta, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017, at Harmar Place in Marietta.

She was born June 14, 1936, in Connersville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Everett “Red” and Christine Osborne. She graduated from Connersville Indiana High School and Ball State University. She also earned a master’s degree from Marietta College. Patsy was a school teacher at Marion and Washington elementary schools in Marietta and often invited students to her home for dinner. She was recognized for her teaching excellence by the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation. Patsy enjoyed music. She was an accomplished pianist, gave piano lessons and played the organ in church. She was known for her creative scrapbooks and bulletin boards. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Marietta where she participated in the church choir.

Patsy is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart, Donald Frampton; they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Also surviving are two daughters, Jenny Frampton of Nashville, Tennessee, and Jill (Ted) Beanard of Vienna, West Virginia; a son Ken Frampton (Lynlee Burton) of Franklin, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Mary and Noah Frampton, Emily (Ashley) Miller, Ezra (Delaney) Stollar and Jacob Stollar; a brother, Ed (Karen) Osborne of Marietta; a sister-in-law Lora(Jack) Richardson of Rushville, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Marietta Home Health and Hospice and Harmar Place for their loving care.
