Robert D. Graham
Robert D. Graham, 89, of Zanesville, Marietta and Rinard Mills, Ohio, passed away April 6, 2014 in Zanesville. He was born February 6, 1925, in Rinard Mills a son of the late Brady and Zena Cline Graham. He was of the Protestant faith. Bob was a life member of VFW Post 5108 in Marietta and Retired IBEW Local 972. Robert was a veteran of World War II, served in the 3rd Army and was awarded the Silver Star.
Robert is survived by his wife Ruth E. Lindamood Graham of 65 years and son John R. (Thelma) Graham and grand daughter Amy Graham; grandson Alan Graham of Zanesville and sister-in-law Mrs. James A. “Connie” Graham; nephews: Matt Graham, Tom Graham and Charles W. Rest; niece Marcie (Rick) Graham Adante.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Norma Graham Rest, Charles L. Graham, James B. Graham and Joanne Graham.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday (Apr. 9) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in East Lawn Memorial Park with military services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 until 8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
