RosaLee Maze
Our Beloved Mother, RosaLee Christopher Maze, 86, went to be with Savior in Heaven on June 26, 2017. RosaLee was born January 15, 1931 to William and Elizabeth Jones Christopher.
She married married Theodore “Ted” Maze in 1948 and together they had 2 daughters, Susan E Hannan (John) of Vincent and Marcia M Bosma of Grand Haven, MI. RosaLee worked for Marietta Memorial Hospital as a nurse and retired after 37 years of helping the community. She regularly attended senior lunches at Layman Church and was a member of Celebration Center Church in Marietta. She never knew a stranger and loved spending time with her family and friends, as well as her church family at the Celebration Center.
RosaLee is survived by her daughters as well as 5 grandchildren Melissa Erb (Mark) of Marietta, Eric Griffiths of Parkersburg, Patrick Hannan (Jerica) of Beverly, Kevin Bosma (Melissa) of Grand Haven, MI and Kristine Hudd (Mark) of Twin Lakes,MI, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and her sister Alice Mae.
In addition to her parents, RosaLee was preceded in death by 2 brothers William and Gary Christopher, grandson Russell Allen Griffiths and great granddaughter Alisha Cristine Lamb.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, June 30th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Gordie Deer officiating. Burial will follow in Tunnel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 2 pm on Thursday with the family present from from 4-8.
