Roselene Mae Hinzman
Roselene Mae Hinzman, 84, of Orangeburg, SC, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, June 10, 2014, after a sudden illness at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg surrounded by her family. She was born in Marietta on July 25, 1929, to the late Warren and Nora Morris Adams. Roselene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Marietta and Orangeburg where she was a Sunday School teacher and played the organ.
On May 17, 1947, she married Argel Isaac Hinzman who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Shelia Goodwill, her son Gary Hinzman, Sr. and 3 grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Michael Hinzman and wife Anna, daughter Chris Russell and husband Leon, grandchildren: Amber Hinzman Whisenhunt, Patrick Russell, Gary Hinzman, Jr., Argelina Strock, Joyce Williams; 9 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Tuesday (June 17) at 10:30 am with Reverend George Gaston officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Parkersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday after 2:00 with family present from 2-4 & 6-8.
