Ruth C. Gardner
Ruth C. Gardner, 88, of Marietta passed away at 5:22am, Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born June 3, 1928, in Marietta a daughter of Arthur and Erma Doan Orr.
Ruth had been employed at First Bank until her retirement. She was a member of Sixth and Washington Church of Christ and Order of Eastern Star.
On September 3, 1948, she married Glenn E. Gardner who preceded her in death on January 18, 1999. One daughter survives, Tammy Lynn Earhart and her special friend Todd Dierkes; 2 grandchhildren, Justin Thomas (fiancé Natasha Kirby) Earhart and Erica LeeAnn Earhart. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Terry Gardner and sister Wanda Schneider.
