Shirley Page
Shirley Page, 71, of Marietta passed away surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at her son’s home. She was born in Marietta on October 21, 1943, a daughter of Ross and Kathleen Swaney Phillips. Shirley was a graduate from Marietta High School, Class of 1962.
She was employed by the Marietta City School system in various positions for 41 years, retiring in 2012 in the transportation department. She loved to spend time with family and friends.
On September 17, 1960, she married her high school sweetheart, John “Jack” Page who preceded her in death January 9, 2015.
Shirley is survived by children: Debbie (Bret) Kesselring of Gilbert, S.C., Steve (Beth-Ann) Page, and Mike (Pam) Page of Marietta; seven grandchildren, Erica Kesselring, Erin (Don) Townley, Ariel (Joey) Hayes, Ariann Kesselring, Amanda Rutherford, Steven Page, and Brooke Page; 10 great-grandchildren, Bria, Brynn, and Bret Becker, Briley and Brooks Poplyk, Baileigh Hoskinson, Kassidy, Brantlee, and Delanie Townley, and Deacon Hayes; and a nephew, Ross (Ruth) Phillips. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Johnny Ross Page and brother Gary Phillips.
