Stella Louise McKitrick Rhodes “Sissy”

Stella Louise McKitrick Rhodes “Sissy”, 77, of Marietta passed away at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware, OH, on Friday, May 26, 2017. She was born on October 4, 1939, in Marietta to Everett McKitrick, Sr. and Emma Felter.

Stella married William Rhodes who preceded her in death on January 7, 1972. She is survived by 3 sons: Raymond (Crystal) Rhodes of Delaware, William Rhodes of Marietta and Everett Bryan (Sheila) Rhodes of Marietta. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren: Amanda, Christina, William, Jessica, Evan, Anna and Josh; 5 brothers: Everett, Butch, Bob, Larry and Doc; 4 sisters: Sue, Annie, Becky and Mary.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Donna.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (May 31) at 10:30 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial at the convenience of the family. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
