Timothy B. Harris
Timothy B. Harris, 75, of Marietta passed away at 11:00am, Friday, September 2, 2016, at Marietta Center. He was born in Marietta September 30, 1940, to Willard R. and Ethel Irene Reichardt Harris.
Tim was a graduate of Marietta High School in 1959, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and enjoyed gardening. He was self-employed in construction.
On November 3, 1979, he married Lynn Fordyce who survives with 3 children: Mark (Jan) Harris of Marietta, Jamie (Matthew) Dailey of Fleming and Teri Wisenbarger and Mike Kaiden of Marietta. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren: Luke Harris and Lacey Willoby, Zach, Levi and Cole Robinson, Madison and Nathan Dailey, Ashton and Avery Wisenbarger, 4 great grandchildren and 2 sisters, Jackie Seal of Myrtle Beach and Jill (Steve) Casto of Cumby, Texas, mother and father in-law Wilma and Gerald Ward, brother-in-law Rocky Fordyce, sister-in-law Debbie (Bob) Haught and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Phillip and his wife Peggy, brother-in-law Richard Seal, great grandson Landan Harris and son-in-law Carl Wisenbarger.
The family will greet friends on Tuesday (Sept. 6) from 2-4 & 6-8 at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Private military graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
