Velma J. Dotson
Velma J. Dotson, 79, of Marietta passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Muskingum Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born June 26, 1937, in St. Marys, WV, a daughter of Gale and Gladys Calvert. Velma was a graduated of St. Marys High School and was a homemaker. She like art and was a gifted painter.
She married John A. Dotson who passed away in 1988. Velma is survived by her daughter Dianna Lynn Dotson Longfellow of Dallas, TX, granddaughter Jenine C. Fouss of Lowell, great grandson Cole Randal Fouss and sister Grace Campbell of St. Marys. Her son Eddy Dotson and 2 brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (Sept. 9) at 2:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in following in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery of St. Marys.
