Violet Hilma Biehl

Violet Hilma Biehl, 98, of Marietta passed away January 5, 2017 at the Marietta Center.
 
She was born May 12, 1918 in Nobel County to Edward Alonzo and Tracy (Robbins) Antill.  Hilma was a homemaker and a mother who enjoyed sewing and was an avid quilter.  She had worked for Weiser & Cawley for several years as a seamstress making drapes.  She loved camping with her husband.
 
On August 24, 1940 Hilma married Roy William Biehl who proceeded her in death on August 14, 1999. 
 
Surviving are her children  James R. Biehl (Karen) and Janet E. Swaney (Randy) both of Marietta, a granddaughter Melinda Wolfe (Brian) and great grandson Mitchel Wolfe.
 
In addition to her parents and husband, Hilma was preceded in death by brothers Thomas, Darrell,  Edward, Kenneth, Dean, and Bryant Antill and an infant sister Edith  May Antill.
 
Funeral services will be held  1:00 pm  Monday , January 9th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Ferrell officiating.  Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.  Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4.  Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com
