Wano L. McCoy

Wano L. McCoy, 94, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Marietta Center.  
 
Wano was employed by Marietta Memorial Hospital for over 20 years as an LPN and loved taking care of her patients.  She was a member of Warren Chapel Church and was active in the Women’s group at the church. She also like to bowl with a group of woman and loved to go to horse shows and to help Dean, Rhonda and Matt get ready to show.  She also liked to help Mike on the farm.
 
She is survived by her son, Dean (Karen) McCoy, of Fleming; 3 grandchildren:  Mike (Martha) McCoy, Rhonda Pickersgill, Matt (Heather) McCoy; 7 great grandchildren:  Sheldon, Taylor, Holly, Kiersten, Kalee, Jessica and Jilian.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Holly McCoy and her parents, Everly and Bell Husk; brothers:  Buck (Nida) and Jim (Maxine) and sisters Grace (Foster) Nitz and Ruby (Howard) Craddock.
 
The family would like to extend thanks to Marietta Center for the compassionate care given to Wano.
 
Funeral services will be held on Saturday (Feb. 25) at 2:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with the family greeting friends before the service from 11:00 am until 2:00.  Burial will follow in
