Mary Elizabeth Bailey

Mary Elizabeth Bailey, 91, of Barlow passed away May 14, 2019 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 2, 1928 In Hollygrove, WV to Holly Ernest and Jessi (Kurnute) Jones. She was a homemaker, liked to can and was a devoted mother to her 11 children.

On May 14, 1946 she was married to Frank Bailey, Sr. who preceded her in death on January 4, 2001.

Surviving are her children Marlene (Raymond) Allison, Shirley Ullman, Wanda Williams, Sue Bolobanic, Donna Bailey, David (Pamela) Bailey, Joseph Bailey, and Richard Bailey and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister Edna Lucile Jackson of Montgomery, WV.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by sons Frank, Jr. and Paul Bailey a daughter Margaret Davidson, grandchildren Jesse Bailey, Lee and Lana Francis and Koren Bailey, and brother Robert Jones, and sisters Shirley Salazar, Margaret Gorgas, Ruby Jones and Janet Best.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday, May 20th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial to follow in Tunnel Cemetery. Friends may call beginning 2 pm Sunday with the family present from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
