Amanda Carlene (Sparks) Edgar

Amanda Carlene (Sparks) Edgar, 29, of Marietta passed away on October 28, 2017, after a brief illness. She was born November 3, 1987, in Marietta to Dianna Fickiesen Perkins and Carleton Sparks.

Amanda is survived by her husband of 9 years, Brian K. Edgar, her daughter Ambreah Raeleigh-Dyann Edgar, her parents: Dianna and James Perkins of Ironton, OH, Carleton Sparks, Sr. of Marietta, her mother-in-law Diane Gallager, her siblings: Brianna Bennett of Colorado, Amber (Kenny) Wriston, Carla Masters and Tiffany Sparks-Byrd, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her son XaZavier West Sparks, her brother Carleton West Sparks, Jr., and her grandparents.

Amanda took great pride in her family and loved each one unconditionally. She was devoted to her husband and her children especially. Amanda loved music, spending time with her family, summertime and art and crafts. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, teaching them about nature and arts and crafts and singing and dancing. Amanda will be sadly missed by all that knew her. If you were her friend you were just like family. She was loved by many and will be forever in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (Nov. 7) at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with interment following in Gravel Bank Cemetery.
