Arthur E. Reiser

Arthur E. “Bud” aka “Hubby” Reiser, 79, of Marietta passed away at 3:30 am, Tuesday, December 25, 2018, at his home. He was born May 9, 1939, in Tuscarawas, Ohio, to Arthur Raymond Reiser and Elizabeth Host Reiser Stout.

He had been employed in heavy equipment sales in Oregon and was owner of AER Communications and also owned Marietta Misty Blue. He was past DDGER of Marietta B.P.O.E. 477.

On November 12, 1979, he married Judith Parks who survives with 1 daughter, Jenny (Jason) Wohlheter of Coshocton. He is also survived by 3 sons by a previous marriage to Yvonne Shilling: Arthur “Buddy” Reiser, II of Vancouver, WA, Jeffrey (Karen) Reiser of Huntington Beach, CA, Raymond (Jacqueline) Reiser of Seattle, WA; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Virginia Walton and Janice Conti and 2 brothers-in-law and 1 sister-in-law.

Judith would like to extend her thanks to all who helped with Arthur’s care during his illness and a special thanks to Gisele Miller for her help.

Friends may call at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Friday (Dec. 28) where an Elk’s memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm followed by visitation until 3:30 with a gathering of friends beginning at 4:00 at Mike’s Sports Bar (formerly Misty Blue) on State Route 821.
