Billie F. Armstrong

Billie F. Armstrong, 81, of Marietta passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020, at James Cancer Center Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born April 11, 1938, to Harry and Ada Weckbacher Armstrong.

He was a 1956 graduate of Bloomfield High School. He was retired from being self-employed in the excavating, oil and gas business. Bill was a 50-year member of Masterton Lodge, Lebanon, Ohio. Scottish Rites Valley of Cambridge, Aladdin Shrine Center Columbus, Ohio and Marietta Shrine Club.

Bill will be deeply missed by his wife of 62 years, Patty, daughters: Tamra Armstrong, Donna Slifco, and Kim (John) Rea; son, Chris (April) Armstrong; granddaughter, Samantha (Andrew) Peck and the “apple of his eye” his great grandson William Rea Peck.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bob Armstrong, son William Armstrong.

Calling hours will be on Monday evening (Jan. 27) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home from 6 until 8 pm with Masonic Services immediately following. Private family graveside services will be at a later date. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
