Cathy Jo Mahoney

Cathy Jo Mahoney was born July 13,1958 in New Matamoras, Ohio to Lucille Slonaker Addlesburger. Passed away November 6, 2019 in Columbus, Ohio at Riverside Hospital.

Cathy is survived by her husband of 18 years, Ralph Mahoney, daughters Trish (Jason) Mahoney and Rebecca Gessel Sparks. Grandchildren: Abby (Andrew Hackney) Mahoney and Brooke (Levi Berry) Mahoney, Shawn Sparks, Leland and Aubrey Holder. Brothers: Richard, Lawrence, James, and John Addlesburger. Sisters-in-law Mary (David Shirey) Mahoney, and Sherry Mahoney Young and brother-in-law Frank (Lois) Mahoney. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Cathy was predeceased by her mother and father, Eugene Addlesburger, and sister Charlotte Bishop.

Cathy loved music and spending time with family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She was a long time member of the Marietta Moose Lodge and enjoyed playing rip off tickets and bingo.

In April 2019, Cathy gave her heart to Jesus, and is living with him now and forevermore.

Services will be held Tuesday, 12 November 2019, at 1:00 pm at McClure Schafer Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Gordie Deer officiating. Interment will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
