Dorothy L. House

Dorothy L. House, 75, of Fleming passed away at 11:11 pm, Monday, October 28, 2019, at her home. She was born March 10, 1944, in Havre de Grace, Maryland to the late William Henry and Ruby Pearl Pitts Greathouse.

Dorothy enjoyed farm animals and especially her cats. She loved to garden and attend her flowers.

On December 27, 1961, she married Paul E. House who preceded her in death on December 12, 2013. She is survived by her daughter, Paula Jean House (Kenny) Hendrickson and her son, Edward (Marie) House both of Fleming, granddaughters: Jessica Ann (Eric) Hendrickson, Sarah Marie Lightner and Elizabeth Joann Cremeans.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters Mary Pearl Kennedy and Alice Robinson and brother William “Bill” Greathouse.

According to her wishes, she will be cremated. Graveside services will be held on Saturday (Nov. 9) at 1:30 pm at Rockland Cemetery in Belpre. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
