Earl “Regis” Mollohan

Earl “Regis” Mollohan, 75. of Waterford, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Heartland of Marietta.

He was born on August 30, 1933, in Parkersburg to Earl and Charlotte Riffle Mollohan.  He retired from B. F. Goodrich and RJF International in 1995.  He served in the U. S. Army in Germany from 1954 to 1956.  He was a member of American Legion for 35 years and loved fishing, hunting, camping when he was able, woodworking and helping his friends and he loved his grandchildren.

On March 28, 1953, he married Ruth Reese who survives with 2 children:  Cathy (Steve) Offenberger of Waterford and Bill (Annalee) Mollohan of North Carolina; 2 grandsons: Greg (Debbi) Offenberger of Dayton and Brice Mollohan of North Carolina; 2 granddaughters:  Kristi (Josh) Mettler of Waterford and Lacey Mollohan of North Carolina; 4 great grandchildren: Haden and Hadley Offenberger of Dayton and Kaylor and Gavin Mettler of Waterford.  Also surviving are:  niece Linda (Ken) Santoro and nephew Allen (Cindy) Mollohan; 3 brothers-in-law:  Glen Reese of Sunbury, Mike (Carol) Hendrickson of Williamstown and Gene (Chris) Hendrickson of Marietta; 2 aunts, 1 uncle and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters-in-law:  Carol Sue Reece and Eileen Reese, brother-in-law Ron Reece.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday (April 4) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in Salem Ridge Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home beginning Friday afternoon at 2:00 with family present from 2-4 and 6-8.
