Eloise C. Dennis

Eloise C. Dennis, 79, of Marietta passed away at 2:00 pm, Friday, July 26, 2019, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born March 11, 1940, in Sandyville, WV, a daughter of Homer Rumbold and Ada Armstrong Rumbold Stark.

Eloise was a homemaker and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She was married to Franklin D. Dennis who preceded her in death.

Eloise is survived by one son and seven daughters: Debra (Bill) Dunn of Woodsfield, Brenda (Dean) Strahler of Marietta, Bonnie (Greg) Laubert of Zanesville, Connie (Michael) Slattery of Williamstown, Teresa Boley of Williamstown, Tina Campbell of Marietta, Linda Dowler of Zanesville, Eddie (Amanda) Dennis of Marietta; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by one brother and two sisters: Shirley Stull, Susie Rumbold and Gary West.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandchild, brother James Rumbold, 3 sisters: Maxine Rumbold, Jenny Casto, Charlotte Lori.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (July 31) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Family will greet friends before the service from 9 until 11. Following the service her body will be cremated. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
