Florence Heidorn
Florence Heidorn, 86, of Bohl Drive, Marietta, passed away at 9:15 pm on Friday, September 12, 2008 at Heartland of Marietta.
She was born on March 29, 1922, in Abington, PA, a daughter of Elmer and Stella Wiekel. She had been a member of Grace Baptist Church since 1977 and enjoyed singing in the choir. She had been employed as a checker at A & P. Florence enjoyed talking on the CB Radio and was known as “Heavenly Sunshine”. She was a wonderful wife and a great mother. Florence married George G. Heidorn who preceded her in death. Surviving are 2 sons: George (Ruth) Heidorn of Marietta and Don (Connie) Heidorn of Ft. Myers, FL, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and sister Elizabeth Wiekel of Ashland, NC.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Robert W. Heidorn, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
